Dave: Lead Singer and Rhythm Guitarist
Andy: Lead Guitar and Vocal
John: Drums and Vocal
Paul: Bass Guitar and Vocal

So Yesterday is a four-piece covers band based in Essex in the UK. Dave is their front man/lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Andy is the lead guitarist, John is on drums and Paul on bass guitar.

They are a group of energetic, young-at-heart, middle-aged chaps who love playing music, enjoy entertaining people and performing popular songs that audiences can dance and sing along to.

They first formed a band back in the late 80’s and have been friends ever since. For many years they performed as ‘The Skyliners’ and became known for performing well known hits from the 50’s and 60’s, gigging around 40 times a year.

In the late 90’s they disbanded but each of them continued to play and perform in one way or another.

Fast-forward to February 2022 and a long overdue get together in Chelmsford resulted in a decision to reform under a new name and with a new repertoire aimed at covering songs from the 50’s up to the 00’s.

Rapid Rewind are a North Essex band playing the best Rock, Pop, Indy and Funk covers from across the decades. Angie (Vocals), Si and Andy (Guitars), Steve (Bass) and Simon (Drums) have been playing pubs, clubs and parties together for 5 years – where did the time go?! We are looking forward to a busy summer schedule.
