Coggeshall is accessible by car from the A120 and A12 via Feering / Kelvedon. There are buses from Braintree and Colchester, and trains to Kelvedon.

Pay and Display parking is available in the centre of the village in the public car park on Stoneham Street. There will be no parking on East Street around the recreation ground on the day in order to keep access open for the emergency services.

Toilets, disabled toilets, and baby changing will be available on-site.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the recreation ground for the duration of the event, but must be kept on a lead at all times. No dog present on the recreation ground during the event should ever have been subject to a Court Control Order or a Contingent Destruction Order under the Dogs Act 1871 or the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act. Please bring dog poo bags with you and use the dog poo bins provided. Dogs are not permitted in the fenced off area of the children’s playground.

As this is a family event with both children and dogs present, glass bottles are not permitted to be brought onto the recreation ground on the day. This is to ensure the safety of all festival goers should glass be broken.

Many vendors will be accepting card payment on the day. However, at times internet connectivity can be temperamental in the centre of Coggeshall. There is a cash point located at the East of England Co-op directly opposite the recreation ground. Cashback is also available in-store at both the Co-op, and at McColls/Post Office on Church Street. There will not be a cash point available on the recreation ground.

Seating will not be provided at the festival, however you are more than welcome to bring chairs / seats / blankets.

Please note that photographers and videographers will be recording footage of the event / crowds on the day. By entering the recreation ground, you consent to your image being recorded, stored and used for any future marketing purposes.

Coggeshall Summer Festival is committed to reducing our environmental impact where possible. We will be serving drinks from the beer tent in re-usable polycarbonate cups which will be available to purchase on the day. This is to reduce single use plastic and waste. Recycling bags will be available at the beer tent, and we encourage you to recycle any cans, paper, or cardboard with us on the day.

Coggeshall Summer Festival is fully licensed and insured. A copy of our risk assessment is available by emailing

The first aid tent will be clearly marked and located next to the beer tent. A security team will be present all day, any unsociable behaviour will not be tolerated.
